Shannon is deeply committed to urban placemaking and community empowerment in the Pacific Northwest. Her collaborative spirit benefits a wide range of design and planning projects. As a landscape architect, she works closely with clients throughout the life of a project, from initial concept through on-site construction. Her work is characterized by a sensitive approach to site, which layers different uses and natural ecologies to create connections between communities and their built environment. Shannon’s research focuses on design equity, cultural inclusivity, and environmental resilience in the public realm.
