They are interested in the intersection between built form, great planting design, and artful landforms and objects. Kara Weaver (BLA 2005) and Jordan Bell (MLA 2012) of Gustafson Guthrie Nichol (GGN) will present the Pike-Pine Renaissance project, a system of streetscape design guidelines for Downtown Seattle. GGN proposes a rediscovery of simple urban street standards to create an elegant, timeless base for ever-changing street life and installations.
