MLA/MUP student Eric Alipio recently shared his thoughts on the UW Native Garden on the UW Farm’s newsletter, “The weekly Dirt.” Eric outlines the recent and pre-colonial history of the Native Garden, the relationship between the UW Farm and the Native Garden, and hope for the future of this important space. On top of a busy schedule studying Landscape Architecture, Eric works hard as Student Assistant at the Burke Museum, who will co-steward the Native Garden with the wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ -Intellectual House.
